Each of the ten plates available for purchase features the same motif, but is a precious, one-of-a-kind piece rendered using sgraffito. Please note that you will not be able to choose your piece from the ten produced, and that depending on how the plate turns out after firing, the process of kintsugi* may be employed for finishing.

*A traditional Japanese technique in which a putty containing lacquer is used to bond broken pieces of pottery or fill in a missing section, followed by an application of gold or silver to decorate the relevant part. The technique is also actively used to enhance ceramic artworks as a form of design.
